Applied Learning
Learn by engaging in direct application of skills, through student-centered instruction and further exploration of content.
Applied learning looks different at various stages of education, and students will have better outcomes if there are dedicated spaces to do hands-on, interactive learning. In elementary school, students can dive deep into subjects by making and working together on projects. In middle school, technology labs allow students to fully engage and dive deep into research and projects. In high school, specialized spaces and labs can focus on career and technical education (CTE) pathways through interactive project-based learning.
