Designing safe, secure and welcoming spaces is a very high priority for TVUSD.  It allows students and staff to focus on their wellness and growth when on school grounds.  The safer children feel on campus, the more likely they will experience academic success. Physically, a controlled campus ensures a collection of school buildings can be monitored from minimal entry points, and individual building security will further enhance controlled entry and use of each facility. In addition to physical characteristics, the District is committed to prioritizing a supportive environment for social and emotional wellness.
